a mix of things

First things first: Month number 33 today! ♥ Monthsary weeekend spent watching Toy Story 3 and eating popcorn. OMG this movie made me cry.

(Spoilers under cut, whatever)

Things to love about Toy Story 3:
- THE CLAW! (LOL Claw ex machina -- tm Eliza)
- BONNIE!
- Buzz Lightyear, arrescate!
- Ken's walk-in closet
- Mr Potatohead as a PITA OMFG THAT BIRD
- Barbie being all anti-establishment and stuff
- LOL that clown being all film noir on us
- That mini-movie at the beginning = WONDERFUL.

+ On other news: 87878 is my newest favoritest number because they deliver PEPPER LUNCH. Ahhhh-mayzing! Minimum orders of P500, reasonable service charge. In conclusion: My tummy is happy.

+ Last night, I was trying to read a portion of The Little Prince out loud to an about-to-sleep Andrea; I read my favorite part, the one with the fox? ("You tamed me!") And for some reason we found double entendres everywhere. (All this talk about ROSES!) In conclusion: Things are never quite the same when you're already older LOL.

+ Also, I have finished Yates' "Revolutionary Road." Verdict: This language. And -- how can that ending be SADDER than the rest of the story? Really, HOW?

+ Also, yesterday I accompanied Auntie to do airport duties with kin. The good news: She's unbelievably at peace with the fact that I am not about to give birth in this lifetime, because I am gay. The catch: She's trying to convince me to adopt. ("Oh, but our house -- it's so quiet. Without babies. Everybody else is having babies.") Oh, LOL this family.

+ Sneaky Auntie is sneaky. See sample conversation:
Auntie: Poor [insert name of only lesbian aunt here.] The other day she collapsed because of a stroke. Good thing one of her nephews came by to check on her. God knows...
Me: Oh dear. Is she okay?
Auntie: In the hospital. It was bad.
Me: She hasn't stopped smoking has she.
Auntie: See, you should really adopt a kid so you'd always have someone with you.
Me: *crickets* Hashbrown? (We were having this conversation in McDonalds, FFS)

Ah. It's just... well, just not in the plan. *shrug* Children are very complicated things. Aren't they, love? Yep, they are.

After airport duties, Auntie and I found ourselves in Glorietta. Later, we found ourselves in a cinema watching that Gabby/KC movie that no one wanted to watch with us LOL. The Universe knows!

+ This morning, btw, I miscalculated my step and sprained myself while going down the condo stairs. I twisted my right ankle, the same one that's always twisted, as it's always the one I seem to like falling down on. (To be fair to me, I was hauling out laundry, FFS.) Why can't I sprain myself over something cooler, like sports? (Like I used to, ALL THE TIME?) Unless of course: Injury in the midst of domestic tasks = The New Cool. Hay going up and down the stairs is going to be one hell of a painful fucker.

+ Last: Have you listened to anything by the Frightened Rabbit? Because if you haven't, YOU SHOULD. Damn this band. DAMN.

+ DOUBLE LAST: If you aren't watching Pretty Little Liars yet, YOU SHOULD. Because it's Veronica Mars crossed over with Gossip Girl. It is dreadfully amusing. There.

  1. Sana magkaroon ng Sharon-Gabby reunion movie, wag lang isama si KC FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. (Pero, maganda ba yung I'll be there? Nakakaiyak man lang ba at least? Hot ba si Echo don at hindi lang dekorasyon? LOL ~interested din pala.)

And... Talaga? Maganda ang Toy Story 3? Hmmm, mapanuod nga...

Happy Month#33 to you and Drea! <3

Also, stairs are ~sneaky. Also, Revolutionary Road *dies*

  2. SHARON-GABBY REUNION MOVIE OMG. I swear pag ginawa nilang plot yung parang plot ng movie ni Sharon at Richard (LOL GOD) na Minsan Minahal Kita KAHIT MAY PILA MANONOOD AKO. (Wishful)

In fairness kay Echo, decent naman siya. Makulit. Angkyut nila ni Bugoy, yung kid? Heh. To answer your question na nakakaiyak ba: Well, I understand if you're horribly invested in the lives of these Concepcions IRL you'd be bawling at THE VERY THOUGHT OF THE MOVIE HAPPENING. (LOL I did a half-assed review of the thing here.

Toy Story 3 MADE ME CRY. AS IN. AS IN YUNG SA SINEHAN LALABO YUNG SCREEN DAHIL ME LUHA FUCK THIS SHIT. HAHHA.

    Also, THANKS!

Also - I HATE STAIRS! LOL.
