triggers, hipsters, and my mother would have liked facebook

But first -- the best thing to have come out of Rockwell's Urban Bazaar EVER:
Smile if you're gay! And then carry on.
Favorite things for this Sunday: Whistlestop's buffalo chicken wings, Starbucks' iced signature chocolate, matching shirts, InfectThemAll (whoo ipod touch games, panira ng buhay!)

Least favorite things: Ants. Who like to crawl over clothes. Especially my underwear. (Overshare but - OUCH.)

Anyway... have I ever told you how much I adored San Miguel Beer back in the day? Especially this man:

Word has it that Allan Caidic scored 54 points in the recent NBA Asia challenge. Christ. How old is this guy? Apparently he's never lost his touch? Oh man. I remember being obsessed with San Miguel as a team in the old PBA, and I remember how in one game they just let Caidic throw those triples because he was breaking a record. LOL. Anyway. I love you Allan Caidic, you are timeless.

Anyway. I was cleaning the bathroom this morning when it hit me: My mother would have liked Facebook. And the Internet in general. That's all.

Earlier, after breakfast of pancakes (hurray new teflon pan! empowering girlfriends!) I asked Andrea what the term "hipster" meant. Apparently, you know you're out of the loop/old when you have to ask people to define things for you.
Me: What do you mean by "hipster"?
Her:[criteria I only remember in keywords: obscure films, obscure music, classical books, etc]

Me: Am I hipster?
Her: (laughs) No.
Me: But I like Passion Pit! Doesn't that count to my favor?
Her: You like Taylor Swift. They kind of cancel each other out.
Me: *pouts*
In conclusion: Not hipster enough. This is a sad day for me. LOL.
