THE PAST FEW DAYS IN SUMMARY = OH MAN, that was such a RIOT.
I haven't been in so many pictures/taken so many pictures FOR YEARS HAHA.

December 11: Block Party
This year it's a billiards-videoke-beer sorta thing at Rolling Stones on Tomas Morato. The place was awesome -- thanks to Wendi for introducing us to the place! :)) There was "couple singing" -- with Rhea singing "Magkasuyo Buong Gabi" to Jobert of course (FEATURE PERFORMANCE HAHA) -- and then there was boyband singing with our brand new in-house boyband (feat Kim, Lawrence, Jobert and Stephen). The chicharong bulaklak was to die for (literally haha) and we broke a corner of the glass table, but that's okay.
(Photos that follow nicked off Almi's very convenient Facebook album for December 2010, thank you!)

December 16: Research get-together at Chili's
Oh man, with the Supreme Court acquitting Hubert Webb et al on Tuesday and Carlos Garcia getting a plea bargain two days later and everything else happening in between, the team surely needed a few drinks, so off to Greenbelt 5 we went for the Azkals game and some quality alcohol. Andrea and I got our much-sought-after shock proof and waterproof Canon Powershot D10 on Sunday and we tested its multiple shots with timer by introducing the Groupakk Shots (tm) at Chili's. It was the best thing that ever happened to us LOL.
The Azkals lost but we still love 'em! |

Getting a taxi from Pasong Tamo to Greenbelt at 9 in the evening proved to be an impossible venture. Yep, it's definitely the season. We took the jeepneys instead and met Ice at Fish and Co. in Greenbelt for some quality conversation about life and futures over fish and chips and alcohol.

December 18: Welcome back J, Happy Birthday M and V
I think it was after the research night-out that I started losing my voice, and it was near Magic Slate levels by Saturday -- not that this stopped me from thoroughly enjoying M and V's joint birthday celeb plus J's welcome back party at Don Henrico's on Examiner in Quezon City. In the absence of cabs Andrea and I rode the MRT to Quezon Ave, a jeep to Delta and a tricycle to Examiner. I am glad to report that I've retained what little I remember about commuting to that side of QC hehe. The girlfriend was thoroughly impressed.
Here be photos of girls in glow in the dark shirts plus bonus Andrea being adorbs in front of brownies (as nicked off her LJ):
Here's Andrea's account of that party: Link.
